Indian student Tanya Tyagi dies in Canada, probe initiated
The Consulate General of India in Vancouver has assured assistance to the bereaved family.

Tanya Tyagi, an Indian student studying in the University of Calgary in Canada passed away, as per reports from the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Vancouver.
While more details are awaited about Tyagi’s demise, the CGI expressed its sorrow. In a post on X, it said, “We are saddened by the sudden demise of Ms. Tanya Tyagi, an Indian student at University of Calgary.”

The consulate also informed that it is in touch with the Canadian authorities and promised to provide “all required assistance to the bereaved family”.
Expressing its condolences, it added “Our heartfelt condolences & prayers are with his family & friends of the deceased."
