Hum Sub and the North Carolina State Capital have come together to organize an Indian exhibit in the State Capitol at Raleigh, North Carolina, from Sept, 6 to 30.
Themed, 'A Place We Call Home: Indian Americans in North Carolina,' the exhibition would feature a variety of topics, ranging from the Indian community in North Carolina, to traditional Indian culture, weddings, and festivals. It will also feature Indian American contributions in business, science, and academia in North Carolina.
The exhibition will kick off on Sept. 6 with traditional and modern musical performances, food, and Mehndi.

Aimed at celebrating the growing Indian community in the region, the event aims not just to showcase the Indian culture but also to explore the rich heritage of the community while educating the attendees about the culture that evolved over thousands of years.
Visitors to the Capitol can see the exhibit free of cost, without prior booking.
Hum Sub is an Indian community organization which aims to share the social and cultural traditions of India with the residents of the North Carolina Triangle area and beyond. It promotes and organizes family-oriented cultural events which are geared towards inclusivity and diversity awareness while helping to build a stronger foundation for the youth.
