India has a right to defend its territory and defend its people, an influential Indian American lawmaker said on May 8. Congressman Shri Thanedar also urged the State Department to investigate Pakistan’s involvement into the Pahalgam terrorist attack and come out in support of India at this time as they do in the case of Israel.
“Look what happened on April 22nd, killing of innocent Hindus, 26 of them, by Lashkar-e-Taiba supported terrorists was horrific. It is something that everyone must condemn, and India has a right to defend its territory, defend its people,” Congressman Shri Thanedar said in an interview.
