Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SE/QA Intern to join our development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our application. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, document, and help resolve bugs within our C# and TypeScript codebase. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment and contribute directly to enhancing our product. This is an unpaid role designed to provide significant hands-on experience and direct mentorship from our founding team.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly test new features and bug fixes to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Identify, record, and track bugs in our issue-tracking system.
Collaborate with the development team to diagnose and resolve software defects.
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
Assist in maintaining and improving our testing processes and documentation.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with C# and TypeScript.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Previous experience in a software development or QA role.
