Rakesh Jha
Rakesh Jha is an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank. He is responsible for the retail, small enterprises and corporate banking businesses of the Bank. He also serves on the board of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, ICICI Home Finance Company Limited and ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited.
He has been with ICICI since 1996 and has worked in various areas. He was the Group Chief Financial Officer in his previous role.
He has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Bharat Gupte
Bharat Gupte is a highly accomplished leader with deep expertise in technology and investment spanning over 30 years. He has a proven track record of success in various industries and leverages cutting-edge technologies to identify and support promising ventures. He has built many startups from scratch to profitable>$100M revenue entities.
Bharat is an Angel investor, advisor, and board member, including Exec. Chairman and C-level roles for multiple communications, software, semiconductor, and security companies (Aigo.ai, Pyramid Cyber, Ultrasolar, Lumasense, Lambenttek, Opelin, Mobifusion, Niksun, etc.). He is also actively invested and involved with healthcare/imaging companies such as R2(HOLX), ObeoHealth, and Terapede Systems.
Bharat evaluated hundreds of AI and blockchain companies to determine viable real-world solutions using these approaches as enablers to address fintech, smart contract, and supply chain requirements in the financial, pharmaceutical, smart foods, and real estate applications. He was an Advisor to CVCI and HBK for private equity investments.
As a Managing Director- Redwood Ventures, Bharat was a Board member for Gtran Inc. (E-Gtran), Axcel Photonics, Optovation (Laurel Networks), Tavanza (CLTK), GWS Photonics, Nextnine, Kromos, Niksun. Numerous successful exits.
Bharat has an MBA from Wharton (Director's Honors List) and a B.Tech. with distinction from IIT-Delhi.
