Indian-origin doctors win Urology Care Foundation humanitarian grants

The 2025 Urology Care Foundation grants support global urologists, including recipients in India, Kenya, and Trinidad, advancing underserved patient care.

Pankaj Dangle and Harshit Garg, both of Indian origin, have been selected as recipients of the 2025 Urology Care Foundation Humanitarian Grant, awarded by the American Urological Association’s official foundation based in Baltimore, Maryland. The foundation announced this year’s grantees on July 9.

Dr. Pankaj Dangle is a pediatric urologist at Riley Hospital for Children and associate professor at Indiana University Health. Dr. Dangle earned his medical degree at the University of Mumbai, India. He also completed his general surgery and urology training there. After moving to the United States, he completed his urology training at the University of Chicago and pediatric fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
