Shubhanshu Shukla's mission targets June 25 launch
Shukla's maiden voyage to ISS has been rescheduled multiple times, largely owing to weather concerns.

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, a part of the Axiom 4 crew, is scheduled for lift off on June 25. After being rescheduled multiple times, the crew's earliest lift off time has been set for 2:31 a.m. EDT on June 25 and 2:09 a.m. EDT on June 26 has been kept as the backup launch-time.
Shukla and his team would be flying to the International Space Station from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Peggy Whitson, former The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronaut and director of human spaceflight at Axiom Space, will command the commercial mission, while Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will serve as pilot. The two mission specialists are European Space Agency project astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary.
During their time on the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct more than 60 scientific experiments and demonstrations focused on human research, Earth observation, and life, biological, and material sciences.
Shukla, an Indian Air Force Group Captain, is set to make history as the first Indian aboard the ISS.
