U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Immigration, Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, wrote a letter to the U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding answers from her and the Department of Justice (DOJ) over the administration's policy of aggressive prioritization of denaturalization of U.S. citizens.

Sent on July 31, the letter questioned whether the DOJ was prioritizing denaturalization cases over traditional priorities like fraud cases, national security issues, liability claims, and consumer protection.
