The Indian Embassy in Washington DC recently hosted him to share his cause and raise awareness on Gandhi's ideals.

Nitin Sonawane, a 33-year-old engineer turned peace-messenger from Maharashtra, is now mapping the breadth of America, on foot.

In a world filled with division and hate, he is covering close to 4,000 miles on foot and spreading the message of peace and inspiring a shift towards harmony and non-violence.
