Indian national wanted for child solicitation arrested at US-Canada border

Gurdev Singh had overstayed his U.S. visitor visa, which expired in 2016, making him an illegal alien in the country.

An Indian national, wanted fugitive in Indiana for serious child solicitation charges, has been arrested at the Canadian border, the US Customs and Border Protection said.

The individual, identified as Gurdev Singh, 42, was encountered by CBP on May 28 after being denied entry into Canada at the Champlain Port of Entry in upstate New York.
