Indian American entrepreneur Lakshmi Mandavilli has organized Georgia’s first-ever neurodiverse pageant, LuckyWe2 Georgia USA 2025.
Held at Celebrations Banquet Hall and organized by LuckyWe2, Mandavilli’s event management firm, the pageant showcased the talents and individuality of neurodiverse participants.
It featured ten neurodiverse participants, each of whom displayed confidence, creativity, and joy.
Several dignitaries including Dilip Tunki, Mayor Pro Tem and Johns Creek City Councilman; Kartik Bhatt, member, Georgia Board of Examiners; Mustafa Ajmeri, Cultural Ambassador; Sai Ram Karumanchi, board of trustees, Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta; Madhukar Yarlagadda, foundation trustee, Telugu Association of North America; Jaymee Abdulsalam, IT Sector HR leader; and Lakshmi Thesam, Indian Friends of Atlanta attended the event.
The audience, which also comprised family members, friends, and supporters, responded with enthusiasm, affirming widespread community support for inclusive initiatives. The event also included performances by two singers, Manisha Mehta and Beena Gajjar.
A resident of the United States for over 32 years, Mandavilli is also the founder of MedRoi Corp, a medical billing enterprise. Committed to women’s empowerment and community upliftment, she was inspired to create this platform after attending a neurodiverse event, where she envisioned a stage that celebrated neurodivergent individuals on their own terms.
Mandavilli dedicated this initiative to her late parents, Ramam and Padmavathi Thummalapalli, crediting their values of compassion and service as her guiding light. She also acknowledged her team, Chalamayya Batchu, Priya Dharmendran, Priya Kumar, and Sneha Kalvakota — for their support.
Looking ahead, LuckyWe2 and Mandavilli plan to organize more of such events.
