Dr. Rajiv Shah calls for “big bets” to rebuild the American Dream

Shah, president of The Rockefeller Foundation, said that the American Dream has become both inaccessible and unaffordable to most families in the US.

Dr. Rajiv J. Shah, president of The Rockefeller Foundation, urged policymakers, researchers, and community leaders to make bold, long-term investments to revive the American Dream, during his keynote speech at the Cleveland Federal Reserve’s 2025 Policy Summit on June 26.

Shah said the American Dream has become both inaccessible and unaffordable to most families in the U.S. “Everyone deserves a chance to reach their American dream,” he added.
