With a decade of professional experience in industry, Sinha is well positioned to guide a program designed to bridge academic rigor with practical application, the university said in a statement.

“It is an honor to introduce and lead this program for our Chapman community. I’m excited about the innovations our faculty members and future MSBA students will drive,” Sinha said.

The MSBA program is a STEM-designated degree with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making. Launched in the post-ChatGPT era, the program offers students unique opportunities to explore how AI can transform analytics across industries.

“As one of the few MSBA programs to premiere in a post-ChatGPT era, our students will have the unique opportunity to learn and understand how AI can work in the analytic space.” Sinha added.

The curriculum integrates technical mastery with strategic thinking, preparing graduates for leadership roles in the fast-evolving data economy. With support from a faculty of scholars and industry experts, the program fosters a collaborative, research-driven learning environment.

Under Sinha’s leadership, Chapman University’s MSBA program aims to become a premier destination for analytics education, equipping students to innovate and lead in today’s competitive global landscape.

Sinha holds a bachelor's degree from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, masters from Syracuse University and PhD from Stony Brook University.
