Animal set to be Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opener yet

The movie has garnered 12.21 crores (US $14,65,055) in pre-bookings.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture ‘Animal’ is about to hit the screens on December 1. Ranbir Kapoor who features as the lead actor in the film is about to have his biggest opener ever with the film already raking in big money in pre-bookings, as per multiple reports. 

The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu over the weekend and as per the latest report by Sacnilk.com, it has already garnered 12.21 crore (US $14,65,055 approx) in advance bookings. The report updated on November 28 says ‘Animal’ is “expected to perform well at the box office.” It also shared information about the film’s advanced booking for day 1. 

As per the report, 341,171 tickets were sold for the 2D format, with the average price of the ticket of INR 243 (US 2.92) for the movie to be screened in the Hindi language. It has sold out over 7,202 shows, and garnered an amount of 10.86 cr (approx US $13,03,577) from the same. 

For the Telugu language screening of ‘Animal’, the movie has sold out 84,375 tickets across 885 shows with an average ticket price of INR 140 (US $1.68). The total earnings from these shows are estimated at INR 1.31 cr (US $157,180). 

For the Tamil language screening of the film, 1,000 tickets have been sold for approximately 75 shows, with a ticket averaging at INR 129 (US $1.55), and garnered over 1 lac (US $1,319) in earnings. For the Kannada language screenings to be held, ‘Animal’ has sold out 1,532 tickets across 19 shows, with tickets averaging at INR 128 (US $1.54), and garnered 1.8 lac (US $2,256) in earnings.
