White House Highlights Trump’s Record on Jobs, Tax Cuts, and Crime Crackdown

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Aug.28 used the daily briefing to spotlight President Donald Trump’s economic and crime-fighting record, pointing to lower gas prices, surging investment, and falling crime rates in the nation’s capital.

“As Americans make their Labor Day weekend travel plans, they will be able to enjoy five-year low gas prices thanks to President Trump fully unleashing American energy dominance,” Leavitt said. She credited the administration’s reversal of what she called “Joe Biden’s green new scam policies” with giving families “more room in their budgets at the end of each month”.
