VitalEdge CEO Vikram Savkar joins equipment distributor foundation's board

Vikram Savkar, the Chief Executive Officer of VitalEdge Technologies, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF).
AEDF is the philanthropic and workforce development arm of the Illinois based Associated Equipment Distributors (AED), an international trade association for equipment distributors, manufacturers, and service providers.
Savkar has been appointed for a three-year tenure that will commence from January 2026.

Brian P. McGuire, AEDF President, addressed Savkar's addition to the bord and said, "Vikram brings proven leadership, expertise, and a valuable perspective from his work at VitalEdge."
McGuire added, "His appointment underscores the AED Foundation's commitment to advancing workforce development, expanding industry knowledge, and building the partnerships needed to grow talent and secure the future of our industry."
As an AEDF Board member, Savkar will help guide the Foundation’s long-term strategy and advance efforts to broaden access to education and training.
Savkar highlighted the importance of the foundation and said in a statement, "The AED Foundation's work to expand technician training, strengthen education-to-career pathways, and create opportunity is vital to the future of our industry."
He added, "I am honored to be involved in AEDF's important work. At VitalEdge, we believe strongly in investing in people, education, and community; values that drive our culture and guide our engagement in initiatives that strengthen both our industry and the communities where we live and work."
