Shobha Meera, an Indian-origin chief corporate responsibility officer at Capgemini, has been elected treasurer of the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact Network USA, the American branch of the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. She replaces Michael Okoroafor of McCormick & Company, who recently retired.
Shobha, an electrical engineer from Osmania University with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, previously served as Global Sales Officer for Capgemini’s Financial Services.
