Nirankari Mission hosts spiritual convention in New York

The Sant Nirankari Mission in New York organized a spiritual convention titled, 'Mukti Parv' on Aug. 17, 2025.

Held at Hofstra University, the event brought together over 1,500 attendees from various walks of life to explore mindfulness, inner peace, and interfaith unity. The event was led by Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Chandana.

Chandana is the husband of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the current spiritual head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. He is a prominent figure in the Sant Nirankari Mission, delivering spiritual discourses at major events in India and in other parts of the world.

The event kicked off with members of the Little League and Youth from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey regions welcomed Nirankari Rajpita in a band-led procession.

The convention served as a platform to pause, re-gauge and renew the core purpose of the journey through life, as per a statement issued by the organization. 

Session on key spiritual questions including 'Mindfulness in Everyday Life', Living with Compassion,' etc. featured in the convention. This allowed devotees to dive deeper into their personal spiritual practices.

An interfaith panel discussion was also organized, giving voice to a diverse group of spiritual perspectives, fostering dialogues of mutual respect and shared values.

Addressing the congregation, Nirankari Rajpita emphasized that in the greater scheme of things, the aim is to prioritize human values. He also noted that human beings should remain cognizant of their roles and responsibilities as the torch bearers of the ultimate truth.
