"It is a tremendous honor to receive this award from USPAACC-SE. This recognition belongs to the entire Vendorship team and our clients, whose trust and collaboration inspire us to continue creating pathways for success for underrepresented and small businesses in every sector,” she said.
Vendorship specializes in guiding companies through the complexities of government contracting, having assisted more than 150 clients and secured over $100 million in contracts. The consultancy helps businesses obtain key certifications, achieve compliance with international standards, and navigate federal, state, and local procurement opportunities.
Under Dawood’s leadership, Vendorship has submitted more than 2,000 RFPs with a 100 percent acceptance rate and expanded its services to include mentorship programs, strategic workshops, and advocacy for minority-owned enterprises.
At the USPAACC-SE Business Summit and Awards Luncheon in Duluth, Georgia, where she received the award, Dawood also participated in the ‘Leadership Through Change’ panel discussion, joining Jaideep Majumdar, former CPO of the City of Atlanta, and Otis Crum, supplier development director at WellStar. Moderated by Nedra Dickson, retired managing director at Accenture, the discussion explored resilience, innovation, and strategies for driving growth during times of change.
This marks the second consecutive year USPAACC-SE has honored Vendorship. In 2024, the firm was named one of the Top 10 Asian American Businesses in the Southeast for its growth and contribution to minority business advancement.
USPAACC-SE is the regional chapter of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit representing Asian American businesses, dedicated to creating economic opportunities and fostering professional growth.
