“Like the devil quoting scriptures”: Tejasvi Surya slams Bilawal Bhutto

The BJP MP dismissed Pakistan’s attempts to frame their country’s U.S. visit as diplomatic outreach, pointing to its history of sponsoring terrorism.

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on June 4 launched a sharp attack on former Pakistani foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, calling his self-described “peace delegation” to the United States ironic and comparing it to “the devil quoting from the scriptures”.

Surya, a member of the Indian all-party parliamentary delegation currently visiting Washington, was speaking at a media briefing at the Indian Embassy, where the group addressed members of the Indian and American press. The briefing followed meetings with U.S. Congressional leaders at the Capitol Hill.
