CTIA appoints Vijesh Mehta to its Board of Directors

Vijesh Mehta is a noted founder in the wireless communications sector / EZ Texting website
Cellular Telephone Industries Association (CTIA), a Washington D.C. based wireless communication trade association, announced the joining of Vijesh Mehta to the association's Board of Directors on June 25.
Mehta is the CEO and Co-Founder of EZ Texting, a California based telecommunications service provider.
CTIA President & CEO Ajit Pai welcomed Mehta and said, "We are excited to add Vijesh to our Board of Directors"
He added, "We welcome his expertise in the messaging ecosystem and look forward to working with him as the wireless industry continues to innovate to better serve Americans."
Mehta's SMS marketing platform powers outreach for over 230,000 businesses, reflecting two decades of transforming complex compliance requirements into scalable solutions.
Mehta addressed his appointment and said, "I am honored to join CTIA's Board of Directors during such a dynamic time for our industry"
Talking about his own experience in the sector, he said: "Mobile messaging is more essential than ever for businesses to connect authentically with customers."
CTIA is a trade association representing the wireless communications industry in the United States, advocating for policies that foster innovation and connectivity. It hosts events like MWC Las Vegas and develops standards to enhance mobile technology and security.
