अमेरिका में शरण लेने वाले भारतीयों की संख्या में जबरदस्त उछाल, सबसे ज्यादा गुजराती

अमेरिका में शरण मांगने वाले भारतीयों की संख्या में पिछले तीन सालों में जबरदस्त वृद्धि देखी गई है। यह आंकड़ा अमेरिकी सपने को जीने के प्रबल आकर्षण को दर्शाता है। यूएस डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ होमलैंड सिक्योरिटी के आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि 2021 के अमेरिकी वित्तीय वर्ष में 4,330 से, आवेदकों की संख्या वित्त वर्ष 2023 में 855% बढ़कर 41,330 हो गई। इनमें से करीब आधे आवेदक गुजरात से हैं।
