ट्रंप प्रशासन ने उन सैकड़ों विदेशी छात्रों के लिए वीजा बहाल करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिनकी कानूनी स्थिति को अचानक रद्द कर दिया गया था, जिससे कई छात्रों में डिपोर्टेशन का डर फैल गया था। यह कदम 100 से अधिक मुकदमों के बाद उठाया गया, जिन्हें छात्रों ने तब दायर किया था जब उनके अमेरिकी विश्वविद्यालयों में पढ़ाई के अधिकार अचानक छीन लिए गए थे। इसका असर लगभग 1,800 छात्रों और 280 विश्वविद्यालयों पर पड़ा।
