NISAR आपदा प्रबंधन में गेम-चेंजर!

अमेरिका और भारत संयुक्त रूप से NISAR उपग्रह लॉन्च करने जा रहा है। 740 किलोमीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थापित होने वाला NISAR दुनिया का पहला ऐसा सैटेलाइट है जो दोहरी फ्रीक्वेंसी रडार यानी L और S बैंड दोनों से लैस है। इसे जीएसएलवी-एफ16 रॉकेट के जरिए जिसे श्री हरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से लॉन्च किया जाएगा। इस सैटेलाइट में हर मौसम में चौबीसों घंटे पूरी दक्षता के साथ काम करने की क्षमता है।
