સુરત જેવા શહેરમાં લોકો આલીશાન ફ્લેટ અથવા તો મોટા મકાનના સપના જોતા હોય છે. આ ઘર પણ લોકોને કદાચ નાના લાગે. પરંતુ સુરતમાં એક એવી પણ ગલી છે જ્યાંના લોકો સ્કવેર ફૂટમાં નહીં પણ 3 કે 4 ફૂટના મકાનોમાં રહે છે. સાંભળીને નવાઈ લાગી હશે. સુરતમાં રાંદેર વિસ્તારમાં આવેલી ટીમલા સ્ટ્રીટ એક એવી ગલી છે જ્યાં આખી શેરીમાં આવા નાના મકાનો જ જોવા મળશે.
