Vandana Gupta made Michigan architectural firm's sector lead

A Chandigarh College of Architecture graduate, Gupta has worked with Texas A&M and Dallas College before joining Michigan based firm, HED.

HED, a Michigan based integrated architecture and engineering firm, has appointed Vandana Gupta as the sector leader of its Higher Education team in the Dallas region.

Gupta comes with over 25 years of design leadership, technical depth, and higher education expertise to HED, further strengthening the firm's commitment to delivering thoughtful, student-centered design solutions across the region.

A Chandigarh College of Architecture graduate, Gupta has worked with Texas A&M, Dallas College, Collin College, Texas Woman's University, and TSTC Waco, before joining HED.

Brent Miller, Higher Education Business Leader of HED discussed the appointment and said in a statement, "Vandana's arrival signals an exciting chapter for our Higher Education practice."

Located in Dallas, Gupta is tasked with driving HED's expansion throughout Texas and the broader Southern region, leveraging her extensive experience and integrated design expertise to deliver strategic and transformative design solutions for academic institutions.

Describing the fundamentals of her job, Gupta said, "Designing for higher education is about shaping the culture of learning."

She added, "Every campus has a voice. My role is to listen carefully and translate that into spaces that feel authentic, empowering, and ready for the future."
