Sai Mandir USA, the first Saibaba temple established in the United States, commemorated its 25th anniversary on May 31.
The Silver Jubilee celebration held at Hicksville Middle School drew more than 750 devotees from across the Tri-State area in acknowledgement of the Mandir’s contributions over the past quarter-century.

Playback singer Sunitha served as guest of honor while Binaya S. Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, was the chief guest. Parupalli Sriranganath, senior musician from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) was also in attendance.
The program featured cultural and devotional segments, including a youth dance performance by Maheswari, a dramatized narration of Saibaba’s life by Ashok Chintakunta, and a classical music presentation led by Sadhana Paranji. Several local gurus and artists also contributed to the event’s vibrant lineup..
Community leaders and dignitaries lauded Dattatreyudu Nori for his founding vision and 25 years of service in guiding the temple’s growth. The event was chaired by Kiran Parvathala and supported by the New York core team and a large group of volunteers.
Organizers said the Jubilee celebration was not just a milestone, but a reaffirmation of the Mandir’s commitment to community, faith, and cultural continuity. The evening concluded with Mahaprasadam, fostering a spiritually engaging atmosphere for attendees
