A day after India hit at nine places inside Pakistan and Pak-Occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, top American lawmakers on May 7 called for restraint between the two South Asian neighbours.
“As we work collectively to bring the perpetrators to justice, I call on New Delhi and Islamabad to exercise restraint and continue their efforts to resolve this crisis through diplomacy,” said Senator Chris Coons, member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Ranking Member of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense.
