Constant Contact, a Massachusetts-based provider of digital marketing tools for small businesses and nonprofits, has appointed Smita Wadhawan as its new Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, Wadhawan will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, overseeing brand, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, and partner marketing.
With a focus on accelerating growth through both direct and indirect channels, Wadhawan will play a central role in enhancing brand visibility and amplifying Constant Contact’s value proposition among small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She will also drive efforts to elevate and evolve the brand’s positioning in a dynamic digital landscape.

Wadhawan brings more than 15 years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong track record at customer-focused, high-growth companies. Her background includes leadership roles at GoDaddy, Intuit, PayPal, and most recently, SimplePractice. In 2024, she was named one of the Top 50 CMOs by the National Diversity Council.
