Lincoln University of Missouri has appointed Indian-American academic administrator Piyusha Singh as interim provost.
Singh will lead the university’s academic affairs, focusing on advancing academic quality, student success, and strategic development during a critical phase of institutional transition and innovation.

“We are pleased to welcome Piyusha Singh to Lincoln University at a pivotal time in our academic journey,” said Lincoln University president John Moseley. “Her experience in leading complex academic operations and her demonstrated commitment to student success will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and continued progress toward our goals.”
Singh brings extensive experience in higher education leadership, with a focus on academic quality, student success, and organizational innovation. She began her senior leadership career at Columbia College in Missouri in 2015, where she served in several capacities including vice president for online education, chief of staff, and ultimately, provost and senior vice president. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving academic innovation and institutional growth across campus-based, online, and national programs.
In 2022, Singh moved to the private sector, joining Big Tree Medical Corporation as an executive where she oversaw healthcare innovation and operational strategy.
Originally from India, Singh holds a PhD in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
