Ravi Bhalla, the two-term mayor of Hoboken, has been endorsed by Climate Cabinet, which backs political candidates with strong climate agendas, for his run for the New Jersey State Asembly. The endorsement reportedly positions him as a key climate-focused contender.

Bhalla announced the endorsement on May 7 in a post on X, writing: "I am honored to earn the endorsement of Climate Cabinet. As mayor, I made Hoboken one of our nation’s leading cities on the climate, established a Department of Climate Action and Innovation, and expanded EV charging infrastructure and constructing state-of-the-art climate resiliency parks. My work has only just begun and will continue in the state legislature."
