What This Role Is
You'll be a trusted partner to our General Counsel (GC), helping to manage their time, anticipate needs, and resolve issues before they arise. You are the go-to person to ensure their day runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll also support the broader Legal Organization as needed, keeping the department organized and on track.

What This Role Isn't
This role isn't about running errands or managing personal tasks. This is a high-impact role requiring strong judgement and discretion. You'll coordinate complex meetings across time zones, work with sensitive legal information, and remain steady and focused when priorities shift. Coordinating global calendars and navigating legal deadlines requires precision - your ability to keep everything on track will make a real difference.

Some Details About What You Will Do

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the General Counsel, including managing a complex and ever-changing calendar.
  • Anticipate the General Counsel's needs and proactively manage day-to-day priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments with minimal oversight.
  • Plan, organize and prepare for complex meetings including communicating meeting details to members, arranging meeting venue and equipment/catering needs, compose and/or work with others to prepare agenda, ensure relevant materials are ready for meetings and/or review, providing day-of-event support, etc.
  • Assist with light project/process management, including onboarding for team members, offsites, and team-wide activities, etc.
  • Make global travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Support expense reporting and monthly reconciliation of credit card statements.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects in support of the office of the General Counsel
  • Track project and progress of issues through to resolution, escalating as necessary to keep things moving.
  • Implement, interpret, and apply current administrative policies and procedures
  • Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, HR, Finance, and Legal Leadership team) to achieve goals (including department, division and individual goals) in support of the mission.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of corporate experience working as an Executive Assistant, with experience supporting a senior executive of legal leader.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you need to reprioritize on the fly.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
