Woman from Punjab ranks 4th at Miss Great Britain beauty pageant

There were celebrations of her victory back home in Punjab’s Kapurthala as well. Her father Vijay Sondhi said, “I am proud of my daughter for what she has achieved.” Rajni Singh was the only Indian to participate in the contest this year

A 41-year-old Indian-origin woman finished at the 4th position in the Miss Great Britain beauty pageant held in UK last week. Rajni Singh, a Panjab University graduate from Chandigarh, says fitness is her passion and she wants to “educate women regarding exercise and nutrition.”

Rajni is a mother of two and arrived in UK post her marriage in year 2003. She also works as a practice manager in the National Health Service (NHS) of UK.
