The Wellingborough District Hindu Association (WDHA) in United Kingdom recently invited officials from the armed forces, police, and National Health Service (NHS) to celebrate the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan.

Raksha Bandhan, literally meaning safety bond, celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters who protect each other. However, WDHA commemorated the occasion by honoring the service of the officials who protect and safeguard communities.
