‘We are the new ancestors’- says Indian-American health coach

If there’s one thing most Indians abroad are missing out on, it is authentic home-cooked food. The same was the case with Coach Neha Shah when she immigrated to the United States.

Now an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach dedicated to the wellness of the desi community in America, Neha speaks to New India Abroad about her journey and how she helps her clients switch from modern to traditional ways of gaining health.

A mother of two, Neha’s heath was deteriorating in a foreign country, and no amount of “healthy” diets were of help. “I craved the way I ate in my childhood days. The way my mother fed me without counting, labeling and substituting. I found myself going back to my eating style in the next 2 or 3 weeks of starting a diet!”
