The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA), Massachusetts, announced a storytelling contest open to contestants under 18 years of age from the six New England states.

‌‌According to the rules contestants must produce a film that is under five minutes and submit it over WhatsApp or another similar platform before the deadline of April 24, 2023.

The film may depict a wide range of themes relating to Hindu heritage. Audio and  visual presentation skills are necessary in addition to understanding  the topic of the tale or discourse. "Children and parents can work together on this enjoyable activity, with parents frequently presenting as videographers," a news release noted.
