Vedanta Group of India inks deal with 30 Japanese companies

The group is committed to making India a hub for electronics manufacturing.

Indian multinational company, Vedanta Group has signed Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) with 30 Japanese business houses as part of a joint effort to enable the growth of India's glass and chip manufacturing industries.

The new partnerships, that will make India self sufficient in the production of high-end technology and semiconductors, were signed last week in Tokyo, Japan at the Vedanta-Avanstrate Business Partners Summit 2022, which was attended by more than 200 delegates from over 100 international firms.
