The United States India Business Council has hailed the Union Budget of 2023 stressing that it reflected India’s continued commitment to enhancing productivity, creating jobs and further integrating into high trust and resilient supply chains and all in the framework of a projected six per cent growth. “… to achieve these goals, the budget embraces efficient tools and vital outcomes like increasing the use of digital technology, enhanced public consultation in regulatory processes, and climate- sensitive development”, the president of the Council Ambassador Atul Keshap said in a statement.
The Council, that was formed in 1975 at the initiative of the governments of India and the United States and has representation of top global companies of the two nations as well as the Indo Pacific, also applauded the Budget for factoring in India’s global export hub aspirations.
