US Marines spread season’s joy by distributing gifts to needy Indian children

The toys for the children were donated by the local community around the U.S. Consulate.

A group of U.S. Marines along with Judith Ravin, U.S. Consul General in Chennai, distributed new toys, school materials, athletic equipment, clothing and Tamil books to 50 children at Chennai's Arunodhaya Centre for Street and Working Children.

As part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, that aims to brighten the lives of children in need throughout the Christmas season, the U.S Detachment, under the direction of Staff Sergeant Nathan Bender, collected toys from the local community around the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai for distribution.
