US, India Civil Space group to advance bilateral partnership

The US - India have discussed a range of subjects linked to Earth and space science including human space exploration, spaceflight safety and global navigation satellite and considered ways to ensure the long-term sustainability of outer space activities.

The US and Indian space officials have discussed bilateral approaches on diverse subjects of earth and space science including human space exploration at a two-day meeting in Washington, according to a news release by the US Department of State.

Discussions between the two countries were held under the eighth meeting of the US - India Civil Space Joint Working Group (CSJWG) at the Department of State where both countries considered deepening the collaboration in the domain of earth and space exploration endeavours.  The US and India have strong bilateral cooperation in space.
