The United States and Indian army troops began their join military exercise (Yudh Abhyas), which is the 18th iteration of the yearly exercise conducted between the countries
The exercise, is taking place in Auli, about 60 miles from the Line of Actual Control in the northern state of Uttarakhand. It comes as both the United States and India deal with rising tensions with China.According to the Indian Defense Ministry, the exercise aims to promote the exchange best practices, tactics, techniques and procedures between the Armies of the two nations.
