India's Mughal Gardens renamed to Amrit Udyan

It will be open for the public to visit from Jan. 31, 2023, to March 26, 2023.

The Mughal Gardens in Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President's quarters) in New Delhi has been renamed Amrit Udyan to commemorate the country's 75 years of independence, a news release from the government noted.

“On the occasion of the celebration of 75 years of Independence as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the President of India is pleased to give a common name to the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens as Amrit Udyan,” the President’s Secretariat said in a statement.
