India has surpassed UAE to become the largest exporter of gold jewelry to the United States (US), as per a report by World Gold Council (WGC), thereby consolidating its position as one of the world’s largest exporters of the valuable item.

This comes as Chinese exports to the US face additional tariffs, and the UAE faces import duties that have reduced its market competitiveness.
