According to the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) the Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange Initiative, which aims to engage emerging leaders from both countries, keeps Martin Luther King’s (MLK) legacy alive.

Established by ECA in 2022, the initiative inspired by the legacies of MLK Jr and Mahatma Gandhi provides classroom training and workshops to the young participants in an effort to build their leadership qualities based on the teachings of the two great leaders.
