Chef Vineet Bhatia awarded MBE for his contribution to UK cuisine

The chef has been awarded for his “services to the UK cuisine, to hospitality and to International Trade."

British Indian Chef Vineet Bhatia has been awarded an MBE -  Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire By the UK government.

A restaurateur and an author, Bhatia is the first Michelin-starred chef of Indian origin to be bestowed with the honour by the monarch of the United Kingdom, King Charles II. He is also the first chef of Indian origin to be awarded a Michelin Star.
