OCI, PIO, foreign nationals cannot apply for Indian seats in medical colleges

The notice for the institutes participating in the NEET-UG and NEET-PG 2022 Counselling rounds applies to All India Quota/Central/Deemed Paid/Indian seats which, it clarified, are not open for the NRIs.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals can apply only for NRI seats in medical institutions in India, and not Indian seats.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which was created for counselling of all Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Super-Speciality aspirants in government medical colleges in India, has informed this through an urgent notice to all medical institutions and prospective candidates.
