Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar, had scheduled a special flight for evacuation of distressed minorities from the Islamic country Afghanistan in collaboration with the Indian World Forum and the Indian government.

Emotional moment for relatives, scene at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi when Sikhs and Hindus who are evacualted from Kabul, arrived on Sunday evening Sept.25, 2022.

38 adults, 14 children, and 3 infants were to board and arrive in India on September 25. The flight was arranged to arrive at terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). After all the formalities were completed, they were to disembark at the Delhi airport.
