India develops indigenous, advanced quantum communication technology to be used by the Department of Defense

The statement goes on to say, “Quantum technology has a huge potential for military application and a disruptive impact on modern-day warfare.”

QNu Labs, a Bengaluru-based Deep Tech Start-up, has created the first indigenous advanced secured communication system that works by employing Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).

Created with the objective of future-proofing today’s data, QNu Labs is the first Indian startup to work in the quantum safe-cryptography sector. Their encryption uses the principles of quantum physics as opposed to the traditional method of encrypting keys.
