Flipkart Grocery, Spices Board offer training programme to spice growers

The programme will also cover small and marginal farmers in certain other states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Indian e-commerce company, Flipkart has associated itself with the Spices Board of India to launch a training programme for spice cultivators in the country.

The Walmart-backed Flipkart e-commerce company will start with 100 farmers and representatives of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in the Idukki district of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in south India.
