Unseasonal rain and crop loss will keep food prices high: Report

High inflation could force the central bank to increase rates further.

The price of grains, vegetables, milk, pulses and edible oils are likely to remain high in the coming months. Economists predicted that the annual headline inflation would likely ease from September's 7.41 per cent peak due to the jump in the index in corresponding months last year.
